Music Monday – Jesus of Suburbia

I should say, “It’s Green Day. ‘Nuff said,” and leave it at that, but I won’t. Instead, I’ll just say that no matter what happens in the future, this band will always hold a special place in my heart, as will the album American Idiot, for many reasons. Hope you enjoy one of the songs from AI that didn’t get so much radio airtime that it made people never want to hear Billie Joe’s voice ever again!

Music Monday: Secret Crowds

Who didn’t love Blink 182? And what the hell do they have to do with this band? Well, they share a lead singer, Tom DeLonge. People seem either to love or hate his voice, and I happen to fall into the “love” category. Together with that epic, sweeping, power pop sound and feel-goodish lyrics that I love, Secret Crowds is one of my favorite AVA songs. I think I’m even getting a line from it tattooed on my body someday (bolded).
